For chess coaches, school clubs and club organizers
One ladder for your chess club, with every player's Lichess and chess.com ratings side by side
Paste your Lichess team or chess.com club link. Club Ladder reads both sites every 10 minutes for players who are playing, keeps the rating history that chess.com doesn't, and turns it into standings you can print and a monthly report each parent can read.

? provisional rating (the site wants more games). * counted from the day I started reading the player, so earlier games are missing. – not known. Games are rated games in the period.
chess.com doesn't publish rating history, so the history here only exists because I keep taking readings. A copy of this site would start with flat lines.
How it works
From a team link to a ladder in a minute
Paste your team or club link
A Lichess team or a chess.com club. I list its members with their current ratings straight away, and you pick who goes on the ladder.
Players confirm their accounts
Each player adds their other site and proves both with a short code in their profile. Until then they show as "not verified". You can also paste a roster from a spreadsheet.
Read it, print it, send it home
Ratings read every 10 minutes for active players, weekly awards every Monday, a printable sheet for the noticeboard and a monthly report for each family.
Both sites
Every player's rating lines, Lichess and chess.com together
Each player gets one small chart per time control with a line for each site, labeled with today's rating. You see at a glance who is climbing on one site and stalling on the other.
- Bullet, blitz, rapid, classical and daily, each its own pool
- Provisional ratings marked, never hidden
- History from the day a player joins, plus their last month of games
For parents
A monthly report a parent can read in two minutes
Plain sentences about what the player did that month: how many games, which time control, how the rating moved, and how that compares with players who started at the same level. Print it, save it as a PDF, or send the link.
- Written from the numbers, never cheerleading
- A box for the coach's note before printing
- "How to read this" for parents new to ratings
Grace L. played 85 rated games online in the last 30 days.
Most of them were chess.com blitz games (62).
In chess.com blitz the rating went from 2326 to 2435, a gain of 109 points.
| Site and time control | Start | Now | Change | Games |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| chess.com blitz | 2326 | 2435 | +109 | 62 |
| Lichess bullet | 2293 | 2305 | +12 | 11 |
| chess.com rapid | 2134 | 2157 | +23 | 11 |
| chess.com daily | 1265 | 1327 | +62 | 1 |
Plus a chart, a calendar of days played, the coach's note and "How to read this".
Activity
See who actually plays, and when
Every player's rated games per day on both sites. Quiet weeks and streaks are obvious before anyone has to ask. Days before I could count a player's games are hatched, not shown as zero.
Club night
Printable standings and pairings
One sheet with the standings, the week's most improved players and suggested pairings with a result column. Print it for the noticeboard or bring it to club night.
- Players sorted by strength on one scale, then paired with a neighbor
- chess.com-only players placed with the fitted comparison, marked "est."
Ratings
Where your club sits
Every club player as a dot on each site, drawn over the spread of every account I track. Useful for splitting a club into groups, or for showing a school how its players compare.

Sharing
Player cards, embeds and a weekly post
Players share a card with their month on both sites. The club's website shows the ladder with one line of code. Every Monday the week's most improved and most active players go to your Discord, Telegram or any webhook.
Most improved: Ada K., +24 in chess.com bullet (2931 to 2955, 35 games)
Most active: Maya S., 119 rated games
Who it's for
Built for the people who run chess for kids and adults
School club coaches
Twenty kids, half on chess.com after outgrowing ChessKid, half on Lichess because the school blocks the other one. One ladder shows both, and the monthly report answers the parents' question before they ask it.
Private coaches
See which students played between lessons and in which time control. The player page has every pool's rating history and the comparison with similar players, which beats asking for screenshots.
Club organizers
A public ladder for the club's site, weekly awards in the club's Discord, and pairings for club night. Members who only play on one site still fit.
Parents
A page in plain words about your child's month: games played, how the rating moved, and what that means. Ask your child's coach to start a ladder; it's free for 15 players.

ChessCore's Pro plan, the first with Lichess and chess.com sync, is $149 a month billed yearly (chesscore.io/pricing). The Club pass is one $19 payment.

Questions
Do my players need to do anything?
Each player opens your invite link, types their Lichess and chess.com usernames, and puts a short code in their profile for a minute. That proves the accounts are theirs. If you start from a public Lichess team or chess.com club, you can track its members straight away; they show as "not verified" until they add the code.
Why not just use Lichess Classes or the chess.com club page?
Each one only sees its own site. Most club players have an account on both, and many play more on one than the other. Club Ladder puts both side by side, keeps the history, and turns it into a page a parent can read. A fair comparison.
Are Lichess and chess.com ratings mixed together?
Never. Each site and time control is its own rating pool, and the ladder shows them in separate columns. Where I need one scale, for pairing suggestions, I use the Lichess number and convert chess.com with a fitted line from people who play on both sites, marked "est.".
How far back does the history go?
chess.com only reports a player's current rating, so I read every account, every 10 minutes for players who are playing and less often for the rest, and keep the history myself. When a player joins I also read their last month or so of games on both sites, so the charts don't start empty.
Is it safe for kids?
I only read what Lichess and chess.com already show publicly: usernames, ratings and game results. No chat, no messages, no photos. Unlisted ladders stay out of search engines, and a coach can remove a player at any time.
Is it one payment?
Yes. $19 once, and the pass works for as long as the site runs. There's nothing to cancel. If I ever shut the site down, I'll say so here at least 30 days before.
Who handles the payment?
I sell the pass. You pay once by card through Stripe, which opens in a new tab. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach me. Stripe emails you a receipt, and the thanks page shows your license key. Save it.
